Morning started calm and warm, low 70s at sunrise with the barometer sitting a hair below where it was this time yesterday. That small drop, plus dew points still in the mid-50s, tells me the monsoon isn’t done with us yet.

Look for cumulus to start stacking up over the Rim by early afternoon. Most of the action stays north and east, but a cell or two could drift our way after 4 or 5 o’clock. If you hear thunder, give it 30 minutes before you write it off.

Winds stay light and variable until any storms organize, then expect gusty outflow from whatever direction the nearest cell sits. High around 96, overnight low near 68.
